Innocence
1Then the LORD said unto Moses, The Lord and Moses. 27And upon this came his disciples, The Lord and Disciples. God comes and speaks to His person/people.

#2
Self Awareness
Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. God tells Moses that he will watch God do something to Pharaoh and the Jews will leave Egypt. and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Disciples watch Jesus talking to woman and she is sent away to another place. Seeing a strange event and leaving.

Government
2And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: 3And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. 4And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. God tells Moses that He is Lord. God tells Moses that he appeared to his “Fathers.” God tell Moses that they came to a new land. 30Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. 31In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. The woman tells her “family” in another city about the man she met and told her “His is the Christ.” Her “family” goes to meet “God” in another place. God is identified and a different land comes into play.

Promise
5And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. God hears the groaning (hunger) of the Jews and God remembers that He will deliver they out to a place they do not know. 32But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34Jesus saith unto them, Jesus talks about have “food” to eat that they don’t know about. God has something for His people that they can’t imagine. He has food to meet their needs.

Law
6Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. God is saying that He is God and He will bring them out of bondage in the near future. Things are about to change for them. Jews toiling in the fields for Egypt. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. Jesus says He must finish a work that looks like it is in the future but it is now. The fields are white and beautiful, ready for harvest. Working in the fields but harvest time and rest is coming.

Note: In Exodus-first mention of “judgments” to come. In John- harvest to come (cutting down of the fields).

Grace -in-
8And I will bring you in unto the land, God will finally bring this generation to a new land. Many generations toiled for Egypt but this generation will see new land. 36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. Jesus explains that some must sow and other will reap the benefit. Some go through the start of a process and others go through the end of the process.

God's Rule
concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD. What God promise others, that promise will finally be seen. They will leave Egypt. 39And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41And many more believed because of his own word; 42And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Samaritans leave their city to come out to see the Christ. The people stay with the Christ and believe. Change of lands and God is made known.
